Promoting and defending a culture of life is critical for our nation's social, economic and moral health. Life is a precious gift. There are those who see nothing wrong with destroying life even months into pregnancy. As your member of Congress I will provide real voice to the unborn.

• I support the right to life.
  
  
• Rowe v. Wade was wrongly decided. The United States government and the federal court system have no business involving themselves in the abortion issue.
  
  
• Anti-Cloning - Human cloning and all unnatural forms of human eugenics should be banned.
  
  
• Embryonic Stem Cell Research - I oppose federal funding of embryonic stem cell research. Scientists have found ways to transmute adult cells into stem cells. This has proven more effective and does not have the moral
  and ethical difficulties of embryonic cell use.
  
  
• My Opponent - Tim Holden voted in January 2007 in favor of government funding for embryonic stem cell research. I will not.
  
  
• Counseling - As long as abortion is legal, I will vote to require counseling for every mother considering abortion including full disclosure of the child’s development and ability to feel pain.
  
  
• Oppose Use of Federal Funds - I oppose the use of federal funds to pay for abortions here or elsewhere in the world.
  
  
• Oppose Federal Funding - I oppose federal funding for any organization that performs abortions. Prenatal education, care and abortion counseling should be provided by third parties who do not stand to gain by advocating abortion.

• Support Marriage Amendment - I support a marriage protection amendment defining marriage as a union between one man and one woman.
