PROTECT 2nd AMENDMENT RIGHTS

Toni Gilhooley shares our founders’ belief that each citizen in a free society must have the right to keep and bear arms. The Second Amendment was written in recognition that this right is the guardian of every other right granted by the Constitution.

• Supports instant database background checks to prohibit known criminals from purchasing firearms without infringing on the rights of law-abiding citizens.
  
  
• Opposes the limitation of the rights of citizens of the District of Columbia to exercise their constitutional rights to bear arms for personal protection.
